As part of its global expansion strategy, TAAC Aerospace Technologies has signed its first international agreement with EDGE Group (ADASI), the largest defense and aerospace group in the United Arab Emirates. This strategic partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening TAAC’s presence in international markets.
Founded in 2019 as a joint venture between Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) and Altınay Defense Technologies, TAAC has successfully developed indigenous landing gear systems, flight control actuators, and advanced test infrastructures for Türkiye’s critical air platforms, including the National Combat Aircraft (KAAN) and HÜRJET. The agreement signed with EDGE Group represents TAAC’s first export milestone and underlines its growing global capabilities.
Commenting on the new partnership, TAAC General Manager Enis Ata stated:
“This project signed with EDGE Group (ADASI) marks a key milestone that will strengthen TAAC’s brand recognition and market value, particularly in the Middle East. While we continue to serve Türkiye’s indigenous air platforms, we also aim to expand our export footprint and solidify TAAC’s position on the global stage.”
Since its establishment, TAAC has been recognized for its engineering capabilities and fully integrated approach across all development processes, from design and production to analysis and qualification. Leveraging the experience gained from Türkiye’s unique air platforms, TAAC is now ready to showcase the country’s landing gear technology expertise on an international level.
Highlighting Türkiye’s advanced capabilities in this domain, Enis Ata added:
“Türkiye is among the few countries in the world capable of developing a fifth-generation fighter aircraft. It also possesses the expertise to produce landing gear systems for such advanced platforms. At TAAC, we proudly bring our nationally developed solutions to the global market. With this first international collaboration, we’ve taken an important step forward — one that will further elevate Türkiye’s expertise in landing gear technologies.”
This agreement with EDGE Group not only represents a successful export initiative, but also stands as a testament to TAAC’s technological capacity and engineering excellence being recognized internationally. Through this collaboration, TAAC aims to establish new global partnerships and further expand its role in the international defense and aerospace ecosystem.
